Shinybooth.com, LLC (“ShinyBooth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates shinybooth.com and provides photo booth rentals, party equipment rentals, and mobile bartending services across Tampa Bay and Central Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, request a quote, book an event, or attend an event where our services are present — and how we use, share, and safeguard that information.

By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in a few different ways, depending on how you interact with us.

Information you give us directly

• Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, and mailing or event address.
• Event details — event date, venue, guest count, package selections, add-ons, and any notes you share with us.
• Booking and payment information — the details needed to prepare a quote, hold your date, and process deposits and balances. Payment card data is handled by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
• Communications — the content of emails, text messages, form submissions, and phone conversations you have with us.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data — such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits.
• Cookies and similar technologies — small files that help the site function, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site.

Photos and media captured at events

When our photo booths, selfie stations, 360 platforms, or Magic Mirror are used at an event, photos, videos, boomerangs, and GIFs may be captured of guests. These are typically delivered to guests digitally and/or as prints, and may be collected into an online gallery for the host. See Section 4 for how we handle event media.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, and confirm availability;
• Process bookings, deposits, and payments, and deliver the services you request;
• Communicate with you about your event, including confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups;
• Deliver photos, videos, and gallery links to you and your guests;
• Operate, maintain, and improve our website and services;
• Send you marketing or promotional messages where permitted (you can opt out at any time — see Section 7);
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security, or technical issues; and
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the limited circumstances below:

• Service providers. We use trusted third parties to run our business — for example, our booking and client-management platform (HoneyBook), payment processors, email and SMS delivery services, website hosting, and analytics providers. These providers may access information only as needed to perform services for us and are obligated to protect it.
• Event hosts. If you attend an event where we provide services, the host who booked us may receive the event gallery and related media.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of ShinyBooth, our clients, or others.
• Business transfers. If ShinyBooth is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

4. Photos, Videos, and Event Media

Our services are built around capturing fun moments, so it is worth being clear about how event media works.

• Delivery to guests and hosts. Photos, videos, and other media captured at your event are shared with guests (typically by text, email, or QR link) and with the event host through an online gallery.
• Marketing use. We may use select event photos to showcase our work on our website, gallery, and social media. If you would prefer that photos from your event not be used for marketing, just let us know before or after your event and we will honor that request. Hosts are responsible for informing their guests that a photo booth is present and that photos may be captured.
• Minors. Events often include children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a photo or piece of information involving a minor should be removed, contact us and we will act promptly.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; note that some parts of the site may not function properly if you do. We may also use third-party analytics tools that set their own cookies.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain our business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Event media is retained for a reasonable period so hosts and guests can access their galleries, after which it may be deleted. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You have choices about how we communicate with you and how your information is used:

• Marketing opt-out. You can opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, and you can reply STOP to any marketing text message. You may still receive transactional messages about an active booking.
• Access, correction, and deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details in Section 11.
• California residents. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us and we will verify and respond to your request as required by law.

8. SMS / Text Messaging

If you provide your mobile number and consent to receive text messages, we may send you messages related to your inquiry, booking, or event, and — where permitted — promotional messages. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including secure connections (HTTPS) and reputable third-party platforms for booking and payments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please help us by keeping your own account credentials confidential.

Our website and communications may link to third-party sites and services (for example, our booking platform, social media pages, and payment processors). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
